Cambridge Parents' Club Cambridge Parent’s Club (CPC) is a local organization that supports the Cambridge School District. Made-up of parents who have students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade and faculty members, CPC focuses on providing support to the schools so that students within the Cambridge School District can succeed. Support from CPC comes in many forms. CPC volunteers at the schools and school events, provides monetary donations to help fund school programs, and gives a yearly scholarship to a graduating senior student who plans on pursuing a career in education. Most people associate CPC with the Cambridge Grade School because of their extravagant biannual carnival held at the grade school, but it is much more. CPC meets once a month to plan upcoming events within both school buildings at all grade levels. As the school year begins, CPC works to help provide refreshments at the grade school, junior high, and high school Open Houses. As the homecoming events draw near, CPC provides monetary assistance to the junior high and grade school homecoming floats. Through out the year, CPC’s main focus is to provide support to the Cambridge School District and the students as opportunities arise. This year CPC would like to encourage parents of junior high and high school to become more actively involved in the CPC program. Parents and faculty members are invited to attend monthly meetings and volunteer as time allows. Meetings are held at the grade school library monthly. If you would like more information about CPC and its programs, please contact the school offices. |
