The Cambridge Parent Network (CPN) is a great way for the whole school community to work together! CPN provides resources for parents of any aged student as well as community members. It is a program that was designed in order to provide resources for all of us to work together- administrators, staff, parents, grandparents, community members, students, or anyone with an interest in today's youth.
We have provided links on both CES and CHS websites to The Parent Institute! You will have unlimited access to daily parenting tips and articles, weekly topical stories, an “ask the experts” interactive feature, weekly quizzes about helping students learn, and an entire School Success Library with information on critical topics including student responsibility, building reading skills, motivating students, and more! You will also have access to thousands of articles that can be keyword searched at your convenience 365 days per year.
We have a link to CPN on the High School website that also provides four different monthly parenting articles as well as a calendar of activities for parents each month. Be sure to check out other links on the Jr./Sr. High School counseling page for additional resources.
Please contact Mrs. Lisa Miller at lmiller@district227.org to let us know what your interests or concerns are. We may be able to provide speakers for topics you are interested in, discussion groups, or any suggestions you may have.
